Colour Design

With so many choices as far as patterns, colours and styles, deciding on the right carpet for your home can be

overwhelming. Let one of our project managers lighten your load. We will break it down for you. A series of simple

questions will reduce the crowd of options to just a minority. Foremost, we decide on a carpet family; are you

interested in Synthetic or Natural carpet? We then move on to the shade spectrum; light, medium, or dark. Next we

would choose whether or not you want a pattered carpet. With these simple questions answered, our project

managers will be able to select a handful of carpet samples for you to choose from.

Type
Carpets come in both traditional rolls and carpet tiles. The rolls often come in 12’ to 15’ to accommodate

different room sizes. Carpet tiles usually come in 2’ by 2’ tiles that glue to the floor. These are especially

popular for commercial spaces. Since a single tile can be replaced easily, if it is damaged by stains or

burns, without ripping out the entire floor.

Installation
Carpet is more forgiving when installed over uneven subfloors, such as an uneven concrete slab. Carpet

installation is also very fast, efficient and cost effective. This is an advantage as a cost standpoint for the

homeowner.

Underpad
Underpad offers a great solution for insulating both acoustics and temperature. Choosing the right carpet

underpad can easily double your carpet’s lifetime. Basic granite foam is available as well as natural wool

felt. Rubber underlay has one of the highest densities available. It all comes down to one number. The

density; the higher the density the better the underpad.
